About the LUMS Written Exam for EOBI 2024:

• The Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) has partnered with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) to conduct the recruitment process for several officer positions.
• The recruitment includes positions such as Dy. Director (Law Cadre), Dy. Director (IT Cadre), Assistant Director (Operations Cadre), and others, with specific qualifications and experience required for each role.
• The LUMS team will manage the candidate scrutiny, design and administer the test, grade it, and report results to the Ministry.

• Application Submission Opens: July 21, 2024
• Application Submission Closes: August 5, 2024
• Release of Admission Ticket: August 17, 2024
• Tentative Test Dates: August 21-22, 2024
• Announcement of Results: August 28, 2024

Application Process:

• Applications must be submitted online via the LUMS-EOBI recruitment test portal at https://eobi.lums.edu.pk/.
• Candidates must use the prescribed online application form; other formats will not be accepted.
• The application deadline is fifteen days from the date of the advertisement.
• There is a test fee of PKR 2500 per test, payable to LUMS.

Vacant Positions and Requirements:

1. Dy. Director (Law Cadre): LL.B, 7 years’ experience, age up to 35.
2. Dy. Director (IT Cadre): Master’s in Computer Science, 7 years’ experience, age up to 35.
3. Assistant Director (Operations Cadre): 16 years’ degree in related fields, computer literacy preferred, age up to 30.
4. Assistant Director (Office Cadre): Similar to the Operations Cadre, age up to 30.
5. Assistant Director (Finance, Accounts, Audit & Investment Cadre): M.Com/MBA (Finance) or related, computer literacy preferred, age up to 30.
6. Assistant Director (Law Cadre): LL.B, computer literacy preferred, age up to 30.
7. Assistant Director (IT Cadre): 16 years’ degree in IT-related fields, fresh graduates encouraged, age up to 30.
8. Executive Officer (Operations Cadre): 16 years’ degree in related fields, computer literacy preferred, age up to 30.
9. Executive Officer (Office Cadre): Similar to the Operations Cadre, age up to 30.

Terms and Conditions:

• Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
• A single written test covers both the Assistant Director and Executive Officer positions for Operations and Office Cadres.
• Selected candidates will have a probationary period of at least one year.
• No TA/DA for written tests or interviews.
• The institution reserves the right to adjust the recruitment process or vacancies as needed.

Written Test and Interview:

• Conducted by LUMS in five major cities: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta.
• Passing percentage for the written test is set at 60%.
• Interviews will be conducted by EOBI, with a weightage of 70% for the written test and 30% for the interview.
• The passing percentage for the interview is set at 60%.
